I have been a Reiki Practitioner for 6yrs, learning Reiki Levels 1 & 2 in Mauritius & becoming Reiki Master / Teacher here in lovely Cheshire. I also practice Pranic healing & Core Shamanism and I am an artist. I find great meaning in having a deeper knowledge of our planet, ourselves & connecting with our spirit.
REIKI is a healing technique for enhancing the quality of life on all levels physical, emotional and spiritual. It is an excellent technique for stress reduction and relaxation.
Rei – Spiritual wisdom The word Rei means Universal, interpreted to mean higher knowledge or spiritual consciousness. This wisdom comes from God which is all-knowing. It knows the cause of all problems and difficulties and knows how to heal them
Ki- life energy The word ‘Ki’ means the same as ‘Chi’ in Chinese. Ki is life energy. It is the vital life force of the universal life force. This is non-physical energy that animates all living things. As long as something is alive it has life energy circulating through it and surrounding it; when it dies the life energy departs.
If your (Ki) life energy is low or if there is a restriction in its flow, you are more vulnerable to illness.
If your (Ki) life energy is high and flowing freely you are less likely to get sick.
CAN I CONTINUE MY MEDICAL TREATMENTS DURING REIKI TREATMENT?
Reiki can be complimentary and works in harmony with all other kinds of treatments.
CAN REIKI EVER CAUSE HARM?
Because Reiki is guided by God-consciousness, it can never do harm. It always knows what a person needs and will adjust itself to create an affect which is appropriate.
IS REIKI A RELIGION?
While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn or use Reiki. Reiki is not dependant on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not.
